DUI and DWAI – Looking at the Charges

In Colorado, DUI (or driving under the influence) is a more serious charge than DWAI (driving while ability impaired). While DWAIs are more typical and occur more frequently, both are based on a driver’s blood alcohol content (BAC) level. As an attorney with specific training on defending DUI cases in addition to practical defense experience, I know what it takes to effectively represent clients so charged.
